PARKER, Jack Reginald, Lt, O-57550, RCNVR, MPK - 16 Apr 1945, HMCS ESQUIMALT - Son of Reginald Vincent and Grace Winnifred Parker, of Caulfield, British Columbia; husband of Margaret Gertrude Parker, of Vancouver, British Columbia. To the Glory to God and in Memory of Lieutenant Parker is commemorated on a plaque at St. Francis-in-the-Wood Church, West Vancouver, British Columbia.

 

Lt Parker died when his ship, HMCS ESQUIMALT, was torpedoed and sunk by U-190 off the approaches to Halifax harbour.
