MCCUTCHEON, William Albert, L/Writer, V14727, RCNVR, MPK - 18 Mar 1945, HMCS GUYSBOROUGH - Son of Dr. Robert H. McCutcheon and Amelia Gertrude McCutcheon, of Vancouver, British Columbia.
L/Writer McCutcheon died when his ship, HMCS GUYSBOROUGH, was torpedoed and sunk by U-868 in the Bay of Biscay with the loss of 53 of her crew. Prior to joining the Navy he served as a Clerk in the RCAF.
