In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
WITWICKI, Thomas Allan - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Witwicki. Tom was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. While living in Edmonton, the winter of 1967, he joined the Navy and saw the world. After 12 years he settled on the west coast and worked his way up to be Assistant Chief Engineer at the Empress Hotel. He worked at various other jobs and finished off his engineering career at the Victoria School Board #61. Not one to be idle, he went back to work with the Commissionaires until his official retirement in 2014. This led to more trips to Mexico, P.V. being a favorite. Tom loved camping, reading challenging crosswords and a cold bevy on a hot day. His was a life well lived. Tom leaves behind his wife Lynn, a multitude of life long friends, cousins in Lethbridge and a nephew in Sweden.
There will be no service at this time, but there will be a gathering at a later date. (The Victoria Times Colonist 29 Mar 2023)
