LONG, Edward Allen Frederick B.A. (Carleton), M.A.Philosophy (Mcgill), R.C.N.R. - Peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2011 in his 76th year. Edward Long, dear son of the late John Long and Eleanor Long (McCann). Predeceased by sister Beverley (Gerrard Bell). Beloved Uncle to Richard, Patricia, Sam (Norma) and Steven (Natalie) and many great and great great nieces & nephews. A special thank you to the Palliative care staff at Medex Extendicare who took such great care of Edward. Friends may gather to celebrate Ed’ s life at The Whelan Funeral Home, 515 Cooper St. (between Bay & Lyon) on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 2 till 4 PM.
