CAMPBELL, Douglas C. V. - 79 of Lafontaine, ON, passed away April 26, 2023 Elmvale, ON. Born November 17, 1943. Parents Cranston and Pauline Campbell. He is survived by his life partner Dianne Marcellus of Penetang, ON and former wife Joyce Kealey of Westport, ON, two daughters Cathy Campbell Perth, ON and Shawna Pineau (Darren) Calgary, AB, two sons David Campbell (Lorraine) Almonte, ON, Robert Campbell (Mary Ann) Burrits Rapids, ON. 11 grandchildren Saywer, Aiden, Kieran, Bram, Brodie, Colton, Jordan, Alice, Matthew, Lyndsey and Samuel. Sisters Catherine (Harold) Burke Moncton, NB, Elizabeth (Francois) Page France, Margaret Campbell North Vancouver, BC. Brothers Donald (Sandra) Cumming, GA, Gordon (Deborah) Kemptville, ON, John (Barbi) Orlando, FL, Paul (Mae) Bracebridge, ON. He attended PSHS then for three years with the Canadian Navy stationed in Cornwallis, ON. His primary life interest was agricultural owning a John Deere Dealership, plus-farms in Ontario and Quebec. He particularly enjoyed horseback riding with his dog by his side. He also spent considerable time on his motorcycle, and loved boating on the Georgian Bay. His life was full and interesting including shipping cattle to the Middle East, and developing a retractable syringe. Family will be hosting a Celebration of Life gathering June 3, 2023 at the condo complex The Breakers at Granite Harbour, in meeting room Building B Room 11 3, Salt Dock Road, Parry Sound 1:30 to 4:30.
