FLOYD, Henry M. (Hank) - Canadian Navy Second World War, Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband for 68 years of the late Dorothy Floyd (nee Taylor). Devoted father of the late Carolyn Munson (Mike), Peter Floyd (Karen) of Blackstock, ON, Barbara Magee (Ken) of Mississauga and Elizbeth Floyd of Toronto. Proud grandfather of Kathryn Browne (David), Thomas Magee (Alison) Kimberly Munson, Nicholas Munson (Danny), Jennifer Alls (Chris), Erin Kernohan (Chris) and Laurie Turner (Matt); and many great-grandchildren. Hank was Senior Executive with a number of firms and former President of GBC Canada Inc., Johnston & Daniel Ltd Realtor, Nashua Murritt Ltd. and The Munroe Division of Litton Industries. He served as People's Warden at St. George's on-the-Hill Anglican Church in 1991. Hank was a Shriner, 32nd degree Mason, Past Master of Oakridge Lodge #708 GRC London, ON. A family visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W, Etobicoke, on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 12 - 1 p.m. A family funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at St. George's on-the-Hill Church cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Youth Without Shelter, 6 Warrendale Court, Etobicoke, ON, M9V 1P9.
