In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
WARD, Patrick (Paddy) - Of Dartmouth, age 89 passed away at Camp Hill Hospital on April 18th, 2023. He was born in Montreal and after joining the navy, he made his way to Dartmouth where he met his wife and raised his family. He worked over 30 years for the Department of National Defense. He is survived by 2 children (Kathy and Glenn), 2 grand-daughters (Kage & Kharleigh), 3 great grandsons, niece (Wanda) and a twin sister. He is pre-deceased by his wife Joan and son Danny. Those who knew him, knew of his love for dogs, cats and his beloved racing pigeons. He enjoyed spending time in the garden; growing tomatoes. He was an avid walker and enjoyed socializing with those he encountered on his strolls. He always enjoyed hearing and sharing a good joke. We would like to thank the Camp Hill staff on 5W for all their care and support. This is where he met many new "sweethearts" - you know who you are! A service will be held at the Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street, Dartmouth on Sunday April 23rd, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. (The Saltwire Network 21 Apr 2023)
