They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
Horace Fausett, a passenger on the Lady Hawkins, died when the ship was torpedoed and sunk on 19 Jan 1942 by U-66. He was a civilian pilot and Captain in the Royal Air Force Ferry Command. Son of the late William H. Fausett and Nancy E. Fausett, of Little Rock, Arkansas; husband of Noleen Carrie Campbell Fausett, of Little Rock. His wife perished with him.
