FRALIC, William M. (Bill) - Bridgewater, passed away on June 11, 2008, in Veteran's Unit of the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Conquerall Bank, Lunenburg Co., he was the son of the late Harold and Jennie (Slauenwhite) Fralic (Pleasantville). At the early age of 17, he joined the navy and was a veteran of the Second World War. He later joined Imperial Oil Tankers as a marine engineer. From there he went on the Coast Guard Ice Breakers obtaining his stationary engineer license. He later operated the steam plants at Halifax hospitals. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Corkum); son, Billy; daughter-in-law, Annette; grandchildren, Clarissa and Logan; his sister, Marguerite (Horton) Winters, Liverpool; nephews, Brian Winters, Liverpool; Scott Winters, Truro; niece, Ann (Trask), Dartmouth; three grandnephews and one grandniece. He was predeceased by many aunts and uncles.
