SPENCER, Velma Mabel (née Shaw) - Passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale, on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Velma Mabel Spencer (Shaw) of Markdale in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Spencer. Dear mother of Janice Reid and Suzanne Edgar. Loving grandmother of Gary Edgar, Matthew Edgar, Christopher VanElsacker, Heather Corcoran; and great-grandchildren Harrison Edgar, Marshall Edgar, Grayson Edgar and Raine VanElsacker. Velma will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by parents Earl & Mabel Shaw and brother Elwood Shaw (Alice). A private family memorial service will be held at the May Funeral Home, Markdale, on Friday April 8, 2022.
