DWYER, Daniel Thomas - The sudden death of Dan Dwyer occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Wednesday, May 7th, 2008. Born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, NS he was the son of Thomas and the late Cecelia (Ropek) Dwyer and husband to Jeanne Montague. Dan had a 25 year career with the Military, retiring as Military Police. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeanne; children, Eric and Tiffany Dwyer; step-children, Cody and Tayler Lunnen; his father and step-mother, Thomas and Irene Dwyer; brothers, Terry (Suzie) and Timmy (Lori); sisters, Tracey (Eric) and Tammy (Ryan) as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, May 11th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Ken Weir officiating. For those who wish, memorial tributes in Dan’s honor may be made in the form of floral tributes or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
