In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
A son of James Corrigan of Fernie, BC. He had 3 brothers, Francis Owen, Egbert, and James J. James served in the 25 Field Company, RCE and Francis Owen Matthews served in the RCNVR. Francis died when HMS VETERAN, a Royal Navy warship that he was taking passage on to Scotland, was torpedoed and sunk by U-404. Michael also had a step brother and step sister, Thomas and Marion Illidge.
