PHILLIPS, John David, AB ST, V19152, RCNVR, killed - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - Son of Maurice David and Marion Phillips, of Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
AB Phillips died when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN, was torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel on 29 Apr 1944. His body was recovered and he was buried in the Plouescat Communal Cemetery, Finistere, France.
