LeDREW Brian Randy - "A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered."
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Brian Randy LeDrew announces his sudden passing. Brian passed away at the Northern Lights Regional Hospital, Fort McMurray, AB, on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the age of 51 years.
Brian was born in Baie Verte, NL, on February 17, 1971. He is the beloved son of Nelson and Betty LeDrew of Mings Bight, NL.
He is survived by his loving wife Gina LeDrew and daughter Taryn Brianna LeDrew. Step-children, Joshua Evans (Julie), David Evans (Tasha) and Deidra Evans (Daniel). Step-grandchildren, Connor and Piper. Siblings; Jerome LeDrew (Tracy), Mings Bight, NL, Shawn LeDrew (Pamela), Fort McMurray, AB, Cynthia Regular (Ronnie), Beaumont, AB, Bobby LeDrew (Teneil) Sherwood Park, AB.
Nieces and Nephews; Cody (Hailey), Brett (Andrea), Tia (Tyler), Tori & Jenna, Carly (Ryan & Brooks), Abby, Kaiden, Lennox & Emry, Brandon.
Parents-In-Law Howard Dicks (Josephine), Middle Arm, NL. Grand Parent-In-Law Rose Quinlan, Lewisporte, NL. Siblings-In-Law Grant Dicks and family, NL, Jeremy Dicks and family, NL. A large number of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Special to his heart is Aunt 'Mar' Marlene Gray (John) and cousin Brenda Fudge (Larry) Fort McMurray, AB.
Brian is predeceased by his grandparents, Edgar and Edith Pardy and Otto and Myrtle LeDrew. Aunt Lily Giles, Uncle Randolph Pardy, Uncle William Gray, Uncle Guy and Aunt Marie LeDrew, Uncle Austin and Madeline LeDrew, Uncle Gladston LeDrew, Tommy LeDrew and cousins Barry Giles and David Vatcher.
Brian's love for Gina and Taryn was immeasurable. They were his whole world. He was also a loving son, brother and friend. He lived his life with love, kindness, strength, courage, a sense of adventure, and a wonderful sense of humor until his last moments with us.
He will forever be remembered for his laughter, heartfelt embraces and love of family and friends. He was a lover of the great outdoors. He loved camping and going to his acreage, flying his plane (which he was so proud of), adored family dinners, game nights, but most of all, he loved being a dad and instilling his joy of life into his daughter.
Brian held many titles in his lifetime; he worked for his future father-in-law as a gas attendant while attending high school. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces, where he became a Marine Engineering Mechanic. He worked in the logging industry, and he attended Aviation School, where he obtained his Commercial Pilot License. For the last 15 years, he has worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Suncor in Fort McMurray.
Brian will forever be loved and sadly missed by all who knew him.
Public visitation will take place at the Robert Anderson Funeral Services 115-190 MacAlpine Crescent on Friday, March 18, from 12 pm to 4 pm.
Service will be held at the Family Christian Centre on Saturday at 1 pm at 160 Dickins Dr. Fort McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Taryn's Education fund in Brian's memory. Donations can be made in person, in the foyer of the funeral service, or through an email transfer to marleneb20@hotmail.com. (Robert Anderson Funeral Services)
