ROBERTSON, William, Sto 1c, V55418, RCNVR, MPK - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - Son of James and of Helen Robertson, of Montreal, Quebec. Husband of Rosina I. H. Robertson, of Glasgow, Scotland.
AB Robertson died when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN, was torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel on 29 Apr 1944. The province of Saskatchewan honoured Stoker Robertson by naming Robertson Narrows in his honour.
