ROGER, Leo Anthony, Sto 1c, V38426, RCNVR, killed - 29 Apr 1944 - HMCS ATHABASKAN - Son of Joseph John and Catherine Agnes Roger, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Stoker Roger died when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN, was torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel on 29 Apr 1944. His body was recovered and he was buried in the Plouescat Communal Cemetery, Finistere, France.
