WATSON, Reginald John, Tel, V35953, RCNVR, killed - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - Son of James and Marie Antoinette Delrue Watson; husband of Ann Elizabeth Joan McGarry Watson, of New York City, U.S.A.

 

Telegraphist Watson died when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN, was torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel on 19 Apr 1944. His body was recovered and he was buried in the Plouescat Communal Cemetery, Finistere, France.
