CALDWELL, Robert Allison (Bob) - 74, Berwick, Kings Co., died December 3, 1997, at home. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late James Craig and Renna (Ratchford) Caldwell. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Royal Canadian Navy, and was a life member of Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona Branch 69, Berwick. He was a veteran member and past fire chief of Berwick and District Volunteer Fire Department. He was a retired plumbing shop supervisor at CFB Greenwood. Surviving are his wife, the former Marjorie Zinn; son, Craig, Kingston; daughters, Margaret Garnett, Kingston; Marina (Mrs. Joseph Pineo), Auburn; Elizabeth Caldwell, Berwick; sister, Elizabeth (Dib) (Mrs. Andrew Keith), Waterville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Glen, Mark; sister, Hazel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick. Private family graveside service at a later date.
