In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
SNOOKS, William Pearce - Age 75, William Pearce Snooks, born in Cox’s Cove, NL, son of the late Almon and Maisie (Cooper) Snooks, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, February 28, 2024. He passed quickly of a heart attack in his room at Corner Brook Long Term Care.
Predeceased by siblings; Anna Kay Snooks, and Randy Snooks. Survived by his wife, Margaret (Banfield) Snooks, Siblings; Barb Winsor (Gary), Bud Snooks and Caroline Silveira. His children; Rodney (Kate O’Coin), Corinna and Colin (Samia) Snooks, grandchildren; Seth and Sidney Riutta (Corinna) and Simon Snooks (Colin).
A proud member of the Royal Canadian Armed Forces - Naval Division, Bill served 30 years before retiring to his home town of Deer Lake. He was an avid reader and master wood worker who loved to play golf and enjoyed cooking rich and delicious foods.
The Snooks Family would like to thank the staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care for their hard and tireless work for their residents.
In keeping with Williams’ wishes cremation will take place. There will be no formal services at this time. (Parsons Funeral Home Ltd)
