FALKENHAM Armond Fernly - 83, Northwest, Lunenburg County, died August 20, 1998, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of the late Willis and Emmie (Faulkenham) Faulkenham. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. After the war he took an engineering course and then went to work with Lunenburg Foundry and Engineering, and ABCO Industries Limited. He later was employed as superintendent of the marine division for National Sea Products, Lunenburg division, until his retirement. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Winnie Veinotte; sons, Michael, Christopher, Northwest; Bruce, Lake Ramsey; Brian, Kingsburg; daughters, Patsy (Mrs. George Bruhm), Northfield; Gailyn (Mrs. Dennis Forbes), Owen Sound, Ontario; Dale (Mrs. Max Bruhm), Upper LaHave; sister, Mrs. Mabel Saxby, Lunenburg; brother, Elvin, Lilydale; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Aileene Langille; brothers, Guy, Willis, Jr., Roy, Keith, in infancy. Memorial service 3 p.m. Monday in Northwest Baptist Church, Revs. Barbara and Bradley Putnam officiating. Burial in Sunny Valley Cemetery, Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to Northwest Baptist Church, VON, or Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Arrangements entrusted to Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
