Service information for:
Ken was born in Peace River, Alberta. At the age of two he was moved to Portreeve, Sask. where he was raised by his Grandparents. On completion of school he moved to British Columbia where he worked in logging camp at Sarita River. Ken joined the Navy April 1st 1953 at HMCS Discovery as a TAS Rate. The TAS branch split in 1959 and transferred to the Sonar Branch. In 1960 he was selected to join the Electronic Technicians Branch.
After his release from the Navy, Ken worked for six months in Motor Transport at HMC Dockyard followed by nine years with Eyretechnics as an Electronic Technologist. From there he worked at MIL for 6 years before finally retiring.
