HAMILTON, Helen Mary - On Sunday, November 6, 2005 Helen Mary Hamilton passed away at the age of 82 years. Helen is survived by her sister Cynthia Martin of Victoria, BC and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was born March 17, 1923 at Kerrobert, SK. At an early age her family moved to Minnedosa, MB and she received her education at Cameron Consolidated School. She spent three years in the WRCNS during the war and when the war was over she went to Winnipeg, MB. Helen took a business course and then worked for Allis-Chalmers for over 38 years retiring in the 1980's. Helen attended Providence Bible College and taught Sunday School at Talbot Mission for a number of years. She was a long time member of Elim Chapel. Helen enjoyed most sports and travelling. She was transferred to Regina in 1974 and attended Hillsdale Baptist Church. Interment will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in Regina Memorial Gardens (please meet at the cemetery gates). A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Wascana Rehabilitation Center, 2180 - 23rd Ave., Regina, SK with Jan Temple-Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Gideons international in Canada, P.O. Box 3619, Guelph, ON., N1H 7A2 or a charity of one's choice. (The Winnipeg Free Press 09 Nov 2005)
