In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
RICHARD, Albin Joseph - Age 89, of Middle Sackville NS, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at the VG Halifax NS. Born June 25, 1934 in Mont Carmel PEI, he was the son of the late Gildas and Bella (Arsenault) Richard. He was in the Canadian Navy from 1951 to 1962 in Halifax, following that he was an automotive transmission specialist until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed playing cards and bingo, and he was always ready with a good joke to tell. Survived by his wife, Sharon Inez Richard; daughters, Lynn (Al) Parsons-Halliday of Middle Sackville, Suzanne Ewing of Chester, Shari (Harry) Richard of Chester, sons, Jon (Angie) Richard of Toronto, Dan (Bev) Richard of Toronto; a special nephew who was like a son, Robert (Tilly) Mason of Hubley NS; brother, Clarence (Leonie) Richard of Summerside PEI; sister in law, Exina Richard; grandchildren, Lily, Joshua, Amber, Emma, Malcolm, Robert, Shannon, Jay, Taylor, Sam, Andrew, Adam, Corey and Chelsea; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Emmanuel (Antoinette), Oxybe, Edmond (Marie), sisters, Anita (Albert), Alice (Dennis) all of Mont Carmel PEI; son in law, Steve Ewing.
