FOX, Stewart Lane - Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Hospital, January 20, 2006, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband to Geraldine "Jean" (nee Poole). Dear father to Joyce Christensen and husband Terrence of Windsor. Dear grandfather to Tara (Nelson) Sarty, Erik, and Lora. Dear great grandfather to Dakotah, Chase, and Sierra Sarty. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law to Ruby Russell. Predeceased by his siblings Marion Fox, Carrie Todd, Ernie Fox, Oleta Hilton, Mabel Waters, Edward Fox, Eber Fox, and Perry Fox. Stewart served in the Naval Service in WWII as leading Sea Man for 4 years and retired from Allied Chemical after 43 years of service. Cremation has taken place. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Stewart in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held Sunday, September 24, 2006. All are welcome. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the James H. Sutton Funeral Home.. (The Windsor Star 23 Jan 2006)
