JEWITT, Michael Leo - (WWII Navy Veteran, retired employee of KPH) - Completed his journey on Friday, July 11, 2008, and now rests in the arms of God. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Cross). Cherished Dad to Teresa Jewitt, and Karen Wilson. Adored Grandpa to Matt and Kate Turtle, and Andrew and Amy Wilson. Held dear in the hearts of his friends and relatives, especially his brother Vince. Predeceased by children Anne and Michael. His gentle way and sense of humour touched all those who met him. Family and friends will be received at the Central Chapel of Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy), on Monday, July 14th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 15th, at 10:30 am. Rite of Committal Prayers at St. Mary's Cemetery.
