HAYWARD, William L. D. - WWII and Korea Peacefully in Ottawa on Saturday, November 30, 2002, at the age of 78. Born in Hamilton, Ontario. Son of the late John and Mary Hayward. Dear husband of Sally (nee Pitt). Loving father of Paul (Joan) and Kathleen (Major Jerry Walsh), all of Ottawa. Loving grandad of David, Peter and Robin Hayward, and Laura and Michael Walsh. Also survived by his loving and loved sister Frances Cloke of Ancaster, Ontario and many cousins, nephews and nieces. Friends are invited to join the family for the Memorial Service at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1619 Main Street, Stittsville on Thursday, December 5th at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date, Oakland Cemetery, Brockville, Ontario. Arrangements in care of the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry.
