In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
MacPHAIL, Charles Howard (Charlie) - aged 61, died Wednesday in Sutherland-Harris Memorial Hospital.
Survived by his wife, Irene; four brothers, Wourtle, Westmount, C.B.; Philip, Louisbourg; Garnet, Melanson; Gordon, Burlington, Ont.; six sisters, Orphy MacDonald nee Mcphail, Pictou; Ada (Jack Jollimore), Joyce (James Donnelly) both of Toronto; Blaina (Herman Murphy), Grimsby, Ont.; Carmen (Ronald Gass), Cornwall, PEI and Muriel (Welwood Battist), Lyons Brook.
Charles was born in Grosse Isle, Magdalen Islands. Predeceased by his parents, Garfield and Alice (Prest) MacPhail and also his brother George.
He was a WWII veteran and formerly employed for 22 years with the CNR in Oshawa, Ontario.
* Charlie is buried in the Saint James Cemetery, Pictou, NS.
