CARTER, Victor Edward, LS HSD, 2818, RCN, MPK - 22 Oct 1940, HMCS MARGAREE - Son of Elmer Douglas and Ada Grace Carter, of Vancouver, British Columbia.

 

LS Carter died when his ship, HMCS MARGAREE, collided with the freighter SS Port Fairy while in convoy and was sunk.  86 of her crew of 143 were lost.
