Age 42. A son of Robert Mitchell Mason and Mary (née Stewart) Mason of Halifax. He was predeceased by his wife June Mason. CPO Mason died at the RCN Hospital in Halifax, NS from a post operative infection resulting due to a ruptured spleen injury. At the time of his death his residence was listed as 24 Fraser St., Levis, Quebec.
