In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
Prowse, William Edwin - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 29, 2012, in his 87th year. Predeceased by Violet, loving wife of 63 years. Father to Paul and Lynn Prowse, Sue and Paul Lord. Granddad to Corey (Sandra) and Jeremy. Predeceased by grandsons Matthew and Adam and great- granddaughter Elyce. Great-granddad of Conor, Emily and Sarah. Will be sadly missed by sister Betty (Les), brother Harold, sister-in-law Joan, predeceased by Fred, Marion, Stan and Isobel. Ed served proudly in the Royal Canadian Navy as a signal man in the Motor Torpedo Boat Flotilla during WWII, worked as a Metallurgist at Stelco for 43 years, was a life member of the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club, recently enjoyed his membership with the Hamilton Taoist Tai Chi Society.
Funeral: Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia. In lieu of flowers, donations to charity of choice would be appreciated by family.
