BECKERSON, Allan George - passed away at Willowgrove Long Term Care Home on August 10, 2014, at 89 years of age. Beloved husband of Irene for 66 years. Beloved father of Jim (Deb) and Bob (Theresa). Dear grandfather of Vicki (Brian), Shawna (Chris), Jimmy (Elaine), Lisa (Paul) and Andrew (Rheanna). Loving great-grand-father of Ethan, Dylan, Brydan, Gregory, Allanah, Lauren, Ella, Charlotte and Maia. Allan was a Tiger-Cat fan and a season ticket holder for many years. Many thanks to the Willowgrove Flamborough Neighbourhood for their excellent care of Allan for the past 16 months. Family will receive friends at Crestmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, August 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Reception will follow interment, at Cresmount Upper James Chapel, 1020 Upper James St. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
