JENNER, Anna Beulah (née McPARLON) - Age 96, of Middle Musquodoboit, passed away August 30, 2019. Born in Waldo, B.C., she was the youngest daughter and eighth child of George and Ida McParlon. Anna joined the WRCNS during the Second World War and served in Halifax. In later years she was an active member of the Canadian Red Cross as well as Birthright, through which she and her husband, Steve, welcomed many young women and children into their home and family. Anna is survived by her son, Lynn Jenson; daughters-in-law, Helen Jenson, Annalee McQuaker and Jean Crosby; grandchildren, Bridget, Luke (Brittany), Jesse Lee (Jason) and Molly; and great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Isaac and Declan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen; son, Thomas; grandsons, Ben and Sam; eight siblings. Anna's family wish to thank all the staff at Braeside for their wonderful care and kindness during her last years. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. A celebration of Anna's life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
