Completed on 05 Nov 1917, CD 73 was was acting as a duty boat in Halifax and was alongside the NIOBE during the Halifax Explosion on 06 Dec 1917.  She was badly damaged and her crew suffered injuries. Paid off in 1918, she was sold and renamed Clixby, later Foi. Her final disposition is unknown.
