DIVING TENDER # 1
DT1 was a diving tender that operated out of Halifax. She first appears in the Navy lists for Jan 1948. She was assigned to the Naval Research Establishment (NRE) Halifax for use in trials for the development of the Canadian Variable Depth Sonar (VDS).
