Harbour Craft
Advance was built for the RCMP, she was built using a new material called 'Birma Bright', an aluminum alloy, making her light and fast. She served out of Ste Anne des Monts, Quebec until 1939. She was turned over to the Royal Canadian Navy in 1939 as Advance and renamed HC 27 in 1942. She was declared surplus on 10 July 1945. Sold 20 Sep 1946.
