RCMP BEAVER was was a high speed ex-rum running boat (Hard Times) that was seized and turned over to the RCMP Marine Section in February 1935. She was renamed BEAVER in September 1936. She was On Command "H" Division and operated out of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. She was turned over to the RCN in 1939 and became CASTOR pendant number S10 from 1939 - 1942. In 1942 she was re-designated HC38. In June 1944 she was condemned and disposed of. (Ship's history from the research of Bryon Taylor)
