Madawaska was a Preventive Service vessel that was transferred to the RCMP in 1932 and was based out of Riviere du Loup, Quebec. In 1939 she was transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy as HMCS Madawaska Z21. She was employed as an Examination Vessel for the Port of Quebec. She was declared surplus and turned over to CADC on 21 December 1945 and was sold for breaking up 28 May 1946. Her registry was closed 26 May 1947, vessel dismantled.
