Built: 1930 

Commissioned:  07 Aug 1941

Paid off: 03 Aug 1945

Fate: Returned to her previous owners in 1945. Foundered on 19 Sep 1953

 

Built in Mahone Bay, NS, a one-time rum-runner and sister to MARVITA, she was acquired by the RCN from the Newfoundland government to be used as an examination vessel.  Returned to her previous owners in Aug 1945, she was later sold and renamed NORSYA in 1950.  She foundered off Matane, Que., on 19 Sep 1953.
