TR 53 was completed in Nov 1918 and paid of in 1919. In 1920 she was sold to the French navy and commissioned as the minesweeper MARIE THERESE II. In 1940 she was captured by German forces in France and commissioned in the Kreigsmarine in Dec 1940 as M-4204. M-4204 was sunk by Allied aircraft off La Pallice on 12 Aug 1944.
