DURON, Cyril, Cook (S), V13735, RCNVR, died - 28 Jan 1944, HMCS MAHONE - Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Duron, of Dhla Luka, Zupa Luptovska. Czechoslovakia.

 

Cook Cyril Duron died from injuries suffered in a collision between HMCS. MAHONE and the SS Fort Townsend at Sydney, Nova Scotia, and died en route to hospital. Cyril was a farm labourer when he enlisted on April 04, 1941 at Calgary, Alberta. He is buried in the Fox Valley Cemetery, Saskatchewan.
