Built: 1938

Acquired by RCN: 1940

Commissioned: 05 Jul 1940

Paid off: 29 Mar 1946

Fate: Destroyed by fire in 1966

 

Built at Metghan, NS, in 1938, Mont Joli was chartered on 05 Jul 1940, for use as an examination vessel and purchased on 29 Jun 1943.  An east coast auxiliary, she was paid off on 29 Mar 1946. Sold in 1949, she still existed under the same name as late as 1966, when she was destroyed by fire.
