They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
Webmaster's note: Supply PO John Cotey died on 20 Oct 1946 as his wartime service in the RCNVR. There was a policy to include those who died up to the end of 1947 as wartime casualties as their death's, though not from combat, could likely be attributed / have been hastened by their wartime service. An email has been sent to VAC to request a review of his file for entry in the Second World War Book of Remembrance. (updated 07 Dec 2023)
Bruce's brothers, Herbert Wright Cotey and Thomas Jardine Cotey also served in the RCNVR.
