COTEY, Herbert Wright - was born in Toronto, Canada, on July 20, 1924. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII. After immigrating to California in 1957, Herb worked for AC Delco Batteries for many years, until his retirement in 1989.
Herbert Cotey died peacefully on September 26, 2014 from complications of Dementia/Alzheimer's, in Long Beach, California. We would like to thank the staff at Bixby Knolls Towers for their care and support during this time.
Herb was predeceased by his wife, Annette (Norton) Cotey; and his daughter, Laura Grace Cotey. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Duane) Arndt and Diane Carmain; son, David (Sally) Cotey; grandchildren, Michael Toney, Jeffrey Schaum and Amanda Cotey; and great-grandchildren, Trevor Toney, Chelsey Schaum and Dylan Schaum.
