CROCKER, Albert William - 68, of Meadowvale, Kings County, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Champney's West, NL, he was a son of the late Harris and Phyllis (Goldsworthy) Crocker. He had been a fisherman, sailed on freighters in the Great Lakes, served with the Royal Canadian Navy, worked on oil rigs and was a talented craftsman. He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Crocker (Blaise Bannister), Dartmouth; three sons, Clayton (Judy), Coldbrook; Will (Cheryl), Dartmouth; Raymond, Halifax and their mother, Anne; a sister, Minnie (Albert) Hiscock, Port Rexton, NL; a brother, Ambrose (Gloria), Port Rexton, NL and their children; a granddaughter, Emma-Anne; grandsons, Adam, Benjamin and Austin; good friends, Spike, Rollie and Bert. He was predeceased by his common-law wife, Suzanne "Sue" Windsor. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston Branch No. 98. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. (White Family Funeral Home)
