In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
A son of Charles and Mary Matthews of Red Head, Saint John, NB. William's brother, AB George Matthews, RCNVR, died during the Second World War when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN was torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel.
