BROOMER, Ross Andrew - Served in the RCNVR during the Second World War, enlisting 03 Jun 1942, as a Stoker 2nd Class - attaining the rank of Leading Stoker before being demobilized on 16 Nov 1945. After the war, Ross married Evelyn in 1946. He retired from Etobicoke Hydro in 1980, having served as the manager of data processing since 1955. Ross passed away on 22 Jun 2002, a month shy of his 80th birthday leaving behind Evelyn, 5 children, their spouses and many grandchildren.
