HIGGS, Herbert G. (Herby) - Proud Canadian, RCNVR 1942-1945, caring husband, great dad, outstanding grandfather, member of White Ensign Club of Montreal. He is survived by his dear wife Mary, sons Glenn (Molly-Ann), Steven (Judith), Bob (Janice), granddaughters Laura, Sheila, Kayleigh, sisters Ellen, Jean, in laws Gordon, Irene, Marcel, Sheila, Sandra, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by infant daughter Linda Mary. Family will receive condolences at Blythe Bernier Funeral Home, 940 Ogilvy Ave. Wednesday, November 24 between 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Thursday, November 25 at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment at Field of Honour, Pointe Claire. In lieu of flowers donations to Montreal Children's Hospital - SIDS research would be appreciated. (Montreal Gazette 23 Nov 2004)
