HMCS CHALEUR Z20
The RCMP received CHALEUR from the Preventive Service in 1932. She was turned over to the Royal Canadian Navy in 1939 and she became HMCS CHALEUR pennant number Z20. She was one of three RCMP motor boats taken over for use at Quebec City, was assigned to the examination service, transporting personnel who boarded, inspected, and reported on incoming ships. In 1945 she was declared surplus and turned over to CADC on 8 August 1945. She was sold 23 August 1946 and finally dismantled in 1947. 1
